DESIGN/BUILD SERVICE
MORE THAN A CONTRACTOR
One thing we at Richard K. Davis Construction have learned in over forty years of working in the construction business on the Treasure Coast is to expect the unexpected. We have also learned that many "unexpected" surprises in the building process can be avoided with proper planning. When a customer chooses our Design/Build Service, we accept full responsibility for the project. We apply our experience to the task of coordinating all phases of construction - from design and permitting through final inspection - to minimize the unexpected, and ensure a smooth, efficient, trouble-free building experience.
"Your help in the planning process and design was a major resource
for the smoothness of the whole building project."
- Rev. Dale Ingersoll, Westside Baptist Church
TRUE DESIGN/BUILD CAPABILITY
Our goal is to be responsible for as much of each project as possible. Our project managers specialize in working with our local design professionals and governments - experience you can benefit from during the design and permitting process, resulting in a smoother process with fewer delays.
EXPERIENCED DESIGN SPECIFICATION
We realized over thirty years ago that becoming involved during design not only allowed design and permitting to flow more easily but also that construction specification and detailing became cleaner, simpler and incorporated a balanced concern for aesthetics, function and economics. Our project managers specialize in working with our local design professionals and governing jurisdictions and therefore provide single source responsibility that knows and understands our local requirements.
"Questions were answered and problems were solved as if
this was the only job they were working on."
- Thomas J. White, President, White Company, Inc.
BUDGETING/JOB COST ANALYSIS
Computerizing our construction job costs within the CSI uniform system of accounting allows us to compile project specific costs for a wide variety of work. This wealth of actual dollar expenditures when evaluated against specific quantities provides not only reliable information for the creation of realistic budget projections during conceptual design but also accurate estimates at bid time.
